Handmade housewarming gifts that actually get used

Gifts
The best housewarming gifts share one trait: they get used. Candles burn down, plants get forgotten, but the things that live on the kitchen table earn their keep every single day. A short guide, admittedly biased towards mosaics.
Coasters, the reliable classic
Nobody buys themselves nice coasters; that is exactly why they make a good gift. Pick & Mix coasters let you choose four patterns that suit their kitchen, and a set arrives ready-wrapped.
A tray for the new table
A mosaic tray is the step-up gift: part serving tray, part centrepiece. One customer told us theirs makes “a subtle but eye catching centre piece”, which is the whole brief for a housewarming present.
Frames and fridge magnets
A checkerboard photo frame with a photo of the old place already in it is a proper move. Cube magnets are the small add-on that makes the parcel feel generous.
The practical bits
Everything is handmade in Cambridge, ready to ship, and posted well-wrapped anywhere in the UK, with checkout handled securely by Stripe. If they have just moved somewhere near Cambridge, you can also collect from a market stall for free. And if you want something truly one-off, commission a piece in their colours.
